2022 Coastal & Estuarine Summit
New Orleans, LA

This event is hosted by the Restore America’s Estuaries with support from the Coalition to Restore Coastal Louisiana. The 2022 Summit will bring together the coastal restoration and management communities to explore issues, solutions, and lessons learned in their work. The Summit Program will address all aspects of coastal and estuarine restoration and management, including the Great Lakes and international locales. Call for proposals is open. The Gulf of Mexico Conference (GoMCon) combines the annual Gulf of Mexico Alliance (GOMA) All Hands Meeting, the triannual State of the Gulf Summit, and the annual Gulf of Mexico Oil Spill and Ecosystems Science (GoMOSES) Conference. Online Educator Professional Development on Deep-sea Corals
NOAA Ocean Exploration Program & Dauphin Island Sea Lab
March 29 and April 28, 2022
This professional learning opportunity is a 3 session workshop. The 1st session is hosted by the NOAA Ocean Exploration Education Team on March 29, and the 2nd and 3rd sessions are hosted by the Dauphin Island Sea Lab on April 28. The workshops include hearing from deep-sea coral research experts, exploring two hands-on activities suitable for the classroom, and learning about relevant local resources. There is a $75 stipend to participate in all three sessions.
