The Northern Gulf Institute (NGI), in partnership with Mississippi State University (MSU), NOAA, and a diverse network of academic, federal, and international collaborators, demonstrated a strong and highly visible presence at the 2025 American Geophysical Union (AGU) Annual Meeting in New Orleans, one of the world's largest gatherings of Earth and environmental scientists.

NGI's participation highlighted the Institute's role as a national leader in translating advanced Earth system science into actionable solutions that support coastal resilience, environmental forecasting, ecosystem management, and decision-making across the Gulf of America and beyond.
