NGI Acknowledgement Awards 2025
The Northern Gulf Institute (NGI) recognizes multiple staff members for their exceptional support of National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI) projects during the extended government shutdown. Despite operational constraints, potential funding interruptions, and heightened uncertainty, these individuals demonstrated sustained commitment to mission continuity and interagency collaboration. Their efforts ensured that critical data stewardship, geospatial services, and analytical support for NCEI projects remained viable during a period of significant disruption.
