Ambrose Recognized by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's NCEI

NOAA's National Centers for Environmental Information recently honored, Barbara Ambrose, with NOAA's visual communication's division, during an NCEI awards ceremony for her contribution to the Fourth National Climate Assessment. The assessment received the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Silver Medal Award for scientific/engineering achievement, the second highest honor granted by the Secretary of Commerce.

Ambrose designed several infographics for the report and assisted with the creation of State Summaries which were a byproduct of the report. Ambrose is widely known for her graphics arts capabilities and her knack for creating captivating visuals and is a valuable asset to MSU, NGI and NCEI.

While the NOAA Silver Medal is designed to acknowledge the work of Federal employees, NGI, NOAA Cooperative Institutes, and partners were included in the awards ceremony. NGI also recognized Ambrose with a Certificate of Achievement. for her outstanding contributions.
